TRUTH SEEKER

This work was strongly inspired by the circumstances of that time that had held me hostage to my childhood pain and fears which furthered escalated into this undermining sadness and longing to escape from what was not real. I am grateful now for that unsettling time as it equipped me with the courage to trust my own instincts. The many years of ignoring my inner voice, of holding back and not being true to myself and to others was the catalyst for letting go. It was the most difficult lesson I had to learn.

Truth comes in so many different and unexpected ways which is why I use the raven, the crow as symbols and messengers of truth in my artworks.
