Communication whether verbal or non verbal has the power to make us or break us.
It is not just what or how something is said but what is understood. I’ve learned that whenever I have a strong reaction or feel offended that I need to ask that person what they just said in order to clarify my understanding as everything we interpret is filtered through our life experiences.
